In my case, mine are named "2160log.ksml" and "2160editbox.ksml" IF YOU NEED FILES FOR AN EVEN HIGHER RESOLUTION because you're awesome like me and running at something stupid like 5120x2160, download the 1080p files from the link above and rename it so "1080" is replaced by your vertical resolution. Here's the files for 1080p (1080log.ksml): You'll want to put new files in here for the resolution you're actually going to use. In C:\Program Files (x86)\Halo Combat Evolved\CONTENT, there's a bunch of files for lower resolutions.
ksml FILE, the game is looking for something to tell it how to this resolution. IF YOU SET YOUR GAME TO A HIGH RESOLUTION AND YOU GET A DUMB GREY BOX IN THE TOP LEFT WHINING ABOUT MISSING A. Hit F6 one more time to confirm your new FOV.
To change your FOV, hit F6 in-game and move your mouse back and forth. Yesterday this gave us grief because it talks to a website to find updates for itself and the website was down, but it should work perfectly now. IF YOU WANT TO ADJUST YOUR FIELD OF VIEW, ALSO DRAG OVER THE loader.dll IN THE CONTROLS FOLDER, AND PUT IT IN THE CONTROLS FOLDER IN YOUR GAME. Default location for the exe is Program Files\Halo Combat Evolved Open up the zip, pull out halo.exe, and replace the one you have in your install with it.
